GET TO KNOW YOUR CANDIDATE
Get to Know Your Candidate 2026 is a nonpartisan interview series produced by Good Morning Martin to help voters make informed decisions in Martin, Tennessee’s November 2026 city election.
Every candidate running in the city election was invited to participate in an extended conversation answering 20 of the most pressing questions submitted by members of the community. Through these nine interviews, participating candidates introduce themselves, explain their priorities, and share their vision for Martin’s future in their own words.
This series is intended to inform, not to promote or oppose any candidate. No candidate paid to participate, donated toward production, or provided financial or material support for the series.
Our goal is simple: to make local government more accessible and give our neighbors the opportunity to hear directly from the people seeking to represent them. We hope these conversations help you get to know the candidates and make your own informed choice at the ballot box.
